Beta was 656

And I'm terrified. I haven't been taking my PNV as regularly as I should have. I was given Me.tho.trexate in September (on the 13) to end the previous, lingering pregnancy and now I'm terrified I shouldn't have conceived so quickly. And I'm not feeling great -- my abdomen has been painful and hard for days now which has me worried. I have ulcerative colitis and I know it could just be that acting up (which wouldn't be fun but I know what to do to manage it).

Help me think good thoughts, please. :) I've never had a beta this high and that has to be encouraging, right? I'll repeat it tomorrow, plus add in a progesterone test for good measure.

This is totally scary.

It IS a high number - which from all I've read it totally a good sign!!

As for the PNV, don't worry. How many hundreds of thousands of women have gotten pregnant and never taken them - so no worries. Take it now that you know.

OMG! This is great! And I agree with Heather. How many unsuspecting pregnant women drink, eat tuna, err, skydive? Not taking a PVN is no big thang. Just start taking them today.

It's very very good. It's a great number and I'm sending many good thoughts for the repeat tomorrow.

That's a great number. And I wouldn't worry too much about not taking your PNV's all the time. Plenty of 'oops' babies are born healthy all the time...as much as it pains me to write that ;)

Wishing you the best of luck and good thoughts for a nice high number tomorrow too!

i'm here via sperm palace(Mel) because of the sew in your name. without sewing i would have gone insane these past two years. hmmm, maybe we could share ideas for projects.

Just found you from Mel...wanted to let you know that I had a m/c with D&C back in Aug. 2004, then got pg the next cycle.

That pregnancy is now my almost two-and-a-half year old daughter :-) I hope that is somewhat reassuring in your thoughts about this pregnancy hot on the heels of your m/c and methotrexate.

Best wishes and great beta!
